Ricky Ponting Retires From All Formats of Cricket
Today is a sad day for Australian Cricket fans because today one of the best Australian Cricketer ever Ricky Ponting announced retirement from all formats of Cricket.
Ponting announced about his retirement on Thursday in a press conference and 3rd test against South Africa starting from Friday will be the last match of his Cricket Career. It will be his 168th test match. Ponting is retiring at the age of 37.
In his captaincy Australian team performed very well and won Cricket World cups of 2003 and 2007.
Tears where seen in the eyes of Michael Clarke today when Ponting was announcing his retirement in press conference. Former and Present Cricketers from various countries has paid tribute to Ponting.
