The second One-Day International between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh was called off due to incessant rain atHambantota.
The rain began to come down when Sri Lanka were batting at 33 for no loss in five overs after Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field.
Sri Lanka have already won the first ODI and with the second one washed out, it rules out Bangladesh's chance to win the series. They will hope to win the final match on Thursday at Pallekele and level the ODI series 1-1 before playing the one-off T20 match.
